What's New in OnceHub: Winter 2023/2024

Introducing the alert center
In the past, we’ve seen customers adding editors to their booking pages just so the editor could be included in booking notifications. We even do it ourselves sometimes! Today, we’re building on that need by introducing the alert center.
You can create alerts for the specific scenarios you want to know about and include the relevant people. Set alerts for bookings received, canceled, rescheduled, and when a meeting has been booked with a user who has no video conferencing connected. Learn more or try it out here.
Members can now share one-time links
OnceHub has two different user roles - administrators and members. Member users cannot create or edit master pages, but we have seen a need for them to share master page links, including one-time links. Member users can now copy these links from the share pop-up if on the relevant plan type. Learn more about one-time links
Improvements to the OnceHub API
Generate one-time links
To help eliminate unwanted repeat bookings, OnceHub allows you to generate one-time links, which are good for one booking only. A customer who receives the link can only use it for the intended booking and will not have access to your underlying page URL. This valuable functionality is now also available within the OnceHub API.
Conversation answers
Conversations are any non-live engagements with chatbots or forms. This is the automated part of the experience and the responses from the visitor. Going forward, conversation objects in the OnceHub API will now include the visitor’s answers, giving you more information and more flexibility for your API use.
Other changes
We have made some structural changes as we work to include some beta features in the OnceHub API. While you may notice some additions, existing API users do not need to make any changes. Everything will continue to work as expected. If you would like further details, please reach out to our customer support team with any questions or refer to our API documentation.
UTM codes for pages
We’ve added something new to the share pop-up for pages - UTM parameters! Fill in the relevant fields to include campaign source, medium, name, term and content. Then simply copy the link and go! Great for helping track the source of traffic to your pages.
One-click sign in
A couple of months ago, we added OAuth for sign up - meaning people could create a new OnceHub account with an existing Google or Microsoft account. It's been so popular that we've now rolled this out to existing users for sign in too. If you signed up using email and password, you can log in with one click by choosing 'Sign in with Google' or 'Sign in with Microsoft.' The one exception is that users who signed up via SSO cannot use these options.
Search forms and chatbots by owner
You’ll now see an ‘’Owner’’ for all items in your form and chatbot lobbies. The owner is the user on the account who created the chatbot or form. To filter the list by the owner, just type their name into the search box.
Save your routing map view
The routing map is a recent addition for forms and chatbots that allows you to visualize routing, edit rules, and spot issues with disconnected interactions. Think of it like an interactive flow chart. Now, any visual changes you make, such as where interactions sit or how far apart they are, will automatically save to make it even easier to manage your forms and chatbots. Previously, the routing map would re-set to a default view after exiting. Learn more about the routing map
Improved error handling for webhooks
If you’re using webhooks, you might be interested to know that we have recently improved how we handle errors on the destination. A retry mechanism will run for a few days, then stops and disables the webhook. But don’t worry; if one of your webhooks is disabled, you’ll automatically receive an email from us to let you know. Email from your domain move to account settings
Email from your domain is a great feature that ensures OnceHub booking notifications are sent from your email address, as opposed to sending from a OnceHub email ID. Until now, settings for email from your domain have been in the booking page area of the application. From today, you’ll find them in your account settings under security and compliance.
